The quarter has a raised area where George Washington jaw is. A similar mark on the rear of coin. Can anyone tell me what it is.

Toothache or mumps but most likely a gas bubble.

to CCF. It is a heat damaged coin not a mint error.

Not a CUD. Use the glossary left side of page. Heated with a torch or maybe a house fire whatever.
