Hopefully my Google Lens search has got this correct... but translates to Year 6. Can anyone tell me if this coin is legit?

It would be helpful if you could get the weight and diameter of the coin, and test to see if it sticks to a magnet.

to CCF. Weight and size, magnet test and tissue test. That coin is faked all the time. Hope you got the real deal though.

Well, it sticks to a magnet, so that rules it out as being real. At least it's a good size for coin tricks. Thanks for the info!

yeap magnetic is iron fake piece (suppose to be silver there are load of these fakes so much so they definitely out number genuine pieces so be careful) . For future reference note that you should have in focus images and weight so that people can tell or make an good opinion otherwise we just be guessing.

It reads as Year 6, but they made only Year 3, 8, 9 and 10 for the 1 Yuan to my best knowledge.

So I'm going with Fake as Heck.

I agree with numister- no such coin struck in year 6 (1917)
