1993 LMC Obverse Gouge?

There's two coins. The first coin I found a couple years ago. The second one a couple days ago.
My question is. I know it's no big deal but does it look like they tried to get rid of the gouge? Or? Thank you for your time.

First one looks like it is incuse (note the reflection). PSD. The date is showing Die Deterioration on the right of the digits. So that is a die aging issue.
Second one also looks like PSD, but looks like the mark is incuse from either damage like when a roll was opened and a stack of coins left damage in an area.
