While searching some 1938D LWC's I got in the mail today I found a few interesting variances. Nothing major, just thought I'd share.

E lower than the W in WE

The '9' looks like it got smack on the head. Not a variety, but damage. The other coin looks like a lamination issue. (That is an error) Neither are varieties.
