Possibly the nicest surfaces I've run into on a steel cent or a Wheat cent for that matter, and now that my photography is getting better I can actually see what I'm looking at if that makes sense lol. Posted this or one of the several I got from the same roll that had obviously come off the same die. Also has a decent die crack on the reverse...pretty sure one of the ms68 coins PCGS has is also from this same die, with circular die polishing lines.
As far as bright luster goes, that's all lighting angle, in hand it is brightly lustered. If I capture that much luster you'd never see the surfaces of the coin because of the light washout. Maybe these phone shots will explain
