I've started going through my collection looking for some coins which might be worthwhile sending off for grading. I've owned this nicely toned 1883 "No Cents" Liberty nickel for years. The reverse photo doesn't capture the nice blue toning. There is a dirt mark (?) in the obverse field in front of Liberty's chin and a bag mark above the "V" on the reverse. It also has some nice die cracks. Thoughts on a grade? Thanks. Paul Bulgerin

I maybe seeing things, but looks like dings on obverse and a scratch on the reverse. I would say MS 62 Net. MS 63 Obverse, MS 62 Reverse.

MS 63, as far as submission. The "no cents" version were hoarded due to the change. Not hard to find in this grade. But the die cracks are nice and might add some value.

64 - If coin has eye appeal toning and strong luster, could make 65 and worth submitting.

There's a hit and two scratches on reverse and a die crack . One die crack on obverse . That small spot by chin should not hurt the coin . MS-64 . I wouldn't send it in , too common . Would need to be at least a 66 .

Thanks for the responses so far. It is a lovely coin, nicer than the photos, but I think I will leave this one as is and not bother submitting it.

it may have a chance at 65 but I'm on the 64 bucket. imo not worth the shot to grade it

This one looks MS-65 to me. Very nice obverse and only a few light marks on the reverse. Great original luster. A couple marks on the reverse look raised so might be die scratches.
