Suspected 1938 D LWC RPM-002?

Been a while since my last post (busy summer), but finally had the chance to do a little variety hunting. I found what I suspect is a 1938-D RPM-002, but this coin does not have as its reverse DDR-001 as is listed on variety vista. Coppercoins seems to indicate that the reverse die was changed and that only some of the coins struck bear DDR-001. What do people think?

You might check to see in the center of the mintmark if there is the same thing going on the inside of the outer loop? That would be what to check for.

There is a quote on the LDS example you might look at on the link above:

Here is a pic of mine. It is a earlier die state without the DDR. Suspected-1938-D-LWC-RPM-002?


Here is a pic of the die cracks on the reverse . You might try to match these up with your coin.
