Hello guys, I'm very new at this & so far I'm having such passion for it & just like you guys I want to learn. Now with this Roosevelt dime, Am I going to right direction? I've been having this dime for a while due to it's uniqueness not knowing it's value till now. Now can someone help me?

If you're talking about the line inside of the rim, it's Post Strike Damage. It looks like the coin was on the end of a roll and the crimping jaws made contact with the coin. I don't see anything on the coin that would be thought of as an error.

My first thought is Machine Doubling, but Die Deterioration Doubling seems strong (with this one).

Welcome to the forum! As one who has an unexplained fascination with the dime denomination, complete series back to the Seated Liberty, aside from the mention damage caused there is no real value other than slightly above face. Being as the Roosevelt series were struck in the tens and hundreds of millions they are valued accordingly. The exception being grades of MS68 and higher. Still, a nice unappreciated series to collect.

Kind of looks like a ghost effect. Or just some what is called Machine Doubling.
