Hi!

I ran across this coin in my collection and I do not know anything about it or if it is an error coin and if so what the errors would be. I am new to coins so please bare with me regarding terminology.

The rim on both sides is flat. Some of the edges look like they were either cut off somehow or there was not enough alloy to fill the mold? I am waiting on a magnifying glass to better view. It also looks like there was debris when it was stamped from the mark over the eye, the R, the T and the Y as well.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback available.

Thank you!

If you can do it in a garage with tools, its almost certainly not a coin error.
