It is nice to have the crack in the center of the picture. I think what you may be referring to is the "O" in the bottom left corner, correct?

On the stem there is a die chip. Not a big thing though for a premium. Actually common on aging dies. New ones go gaga on them, but seasoned collectors take it for what it is, an aging worn die example.
