The coin is 7mm width. 0.29 grams. I have a precious metal verifier and it tests likely positive for gold. The person I bought it from said he thinks it is from Nepal, but I looked through all the World Coins from 1601 up. These symbols appear more like animal figures than actual language. Any help is appreciated.

Would your precious metal verifier be able to determine between a plated coin and a solid gold one? That is a lot of white metal showing.

@dss, I'm moving your thread to the unidentified section of CCF to get more eyes on it. Once we figure out what it is, then I'll move it over to the correct final resting spot.

The previous images had to much light and light reflection and did not come out right. This is the first time I used the Leuchtturm camera. Also, I tested the coin again. I will show those results next.

This looks like gold. Could this be an authentic ancient? What are your thoughts?

Well I have no idea if it would be ancient or not. I just recalled the post about potential fakes mentioned ancient. Any help is appreciated.

The comments from andyg may be on the right track. Otherwise some sort of tiny gold fanam? I don't see any animal figures, only crude inscriptions in Arabic letters.

These are definitely fakes of Sind/Multan coins, documented. I have several dozen of them, many in mint state.
