Was roll hunting today and found a few nickels with massive feeder finger errors. Let me know what you think and about how much you think their worth. I tried ebay but theres none on it wnd nothing close to it on there. All the feeder finger errors I found are very small. Thank you in advance.

Value: 5 cents. You couldn't find them on ebay because there is not much demand for similar ones.

to the CCF!

I would say yes, significant feed finger damage. And the fingers damage the surface of the die, not the coin which is why it shows on the field and the shallowest portions of the design. If it had been damage to the coin it would be on the high relief and not the low areas.

The Feeder Finger Damage will appear on the areas where the devices are even with the fields. Thus why some areas look a bit weaker as some devices are shallow and some are deeper. The deeper the image, the probably won't be affected by Feeder Finger Damage. On the shallow devices, these will be affected a bit weaker as they are slightly below the field areas. So on those areas they will be weaker. hope this helps?
