My deceased parents and I have been collecting Encased Coins and tokens for many many years. This one was in my parents collection. I am looking for help with what I believe are some kind of die error. Thank you so much for any information you may give

Can you explain what lamination error. Do you all see the letters above the ONE...what are they? I am soooo learning by the seat of my pants...lol

sorry the pictures are going to have to be much clearer to see what's going on. Lamination might be right, might just be some crazy damage on an Encased Cent also.

Don't take it out of the holder. It is worth more in the holder. Taking it out would give you a damaged ex-encased coin, that would become just a Wheat cent.
