When doing some research, it dawned on me that I don't know the difference between 1942/1-D 10C Overdate FS-101 (010.8), (Regular Strike) and 1942/1-D 10C Overdate (Regular Strike) Thanks in advance -J
FS-101 (010.8) signify? I see separate listings on PCGS site but dont see any information anywhere. I have searched many times and never found anything.
Rest in Peace

Your question is a little confusing.
As T-Bop mentioned there is one variety of FS#101 from the Philly mint and one from the Denver mint.

You have listed two (2) Denver coins which have the same overdate variety designation.

The FS# is from The Cherry Pickers Guide by Bill Fivazz and J.T. Stanton (ie: FS#)

Thanks Pete, thanks TBop.
I saw your reply after I replied to first comment.

PS Remember this thread, I will thank ya later for the info Pete.

It seems that PCGS has a second listing for ones that note the Fivaz-Stanton reference on the slab. They have the FS numbered listing a "die variety" of the generic 1942/1-D listing. They're both the same coin and I don't see any differences in the pricing, although the FS numbered variant is missing a few fields in the PCGS Price Guide.

Yep it just depends on whether or not the FS number appears on the label.

Looks like there is going to be a lot of different names for the same coin.
