I am sorry to say this, but I am not seeing what you're seeing.

@danaro, sorry but I'm confused. Do you have a coin with a steel cent on the obv and a silver dime on the rev? Or are you saying that the dies used to strike this mercury head dime had previously been clashed with a Lincoln Wheat cent die? I'm confused. Maybe can you post overall pics of the obv and rev of the coin?

That's not how a die clash works. It's not a large raised area, but an area where the dies struck and transferred elements of the design that is then passed on the the coins they strike. The "nose" on the dime is just pair of flattened olives that were part of the original dime's reverse design.

Sorry but I don't think you have what you think you have.
The cent is just a regular cent.

there is zero chance of a die clash from a 1943 dime made it onto a 1943 cent.. you need to research what has to happen , to the dies before you can assume that it is on your coin..
And please stop watching you tube videos..
There probably is coins you can find searching your change, that are worth money,, but you aren't going to get rich doing it..
My opinion only..

I would like Danaro1 to explain to us what a die clash is, and specify exactly what events led to this coin being made.

Maynmbe I'm a little lost on the terminology but I'll get the hang of it. No it isn't a dime it's a 1943 steel wheat pennies obverse with the reverse of the Mercury dime. I see it clear as day no need to be indenial, keep hunting and you'll probably find one.if you have that eye
