I came across a Roosevelt dime with a date that reads "2605" How would I find out it's value and where should I go to sell it ?

Sounds like the first 0 was damaged to make it look like a 6. If so 10 cents is what it is worth and can be exchanged for 10 cents worth of good anywhere US money is accepted.

It wouldn't be possible for the mint to accidentally make a die dated 2605, if they did all the dimes that years would be dated 2605 and they woulds still be worth 10 cents.

Only other possibility would be a very inept counterfeiter who dated his die 2605 in which case the piece is worth zero.
