I'm seeing a good deal of circulation wear, combined with a late(r) die state. Possible die chips in 'BE', in LIBERTY

On the devices on the rim, that is master hub swelling. The master die had a new one created in 1969:

The first clue on these is the devices on the rim. Also the devices will be enlarged and the bust will be enlarged. Even the space between the top of the head and 'WE' will be closer on the swelled master die, and the between the 'Y' on Liberty and the bust will also be closer when you see them side by side. Same for the 1982 large and small dates. The same issue the master hub was swelling and a new master hub was created and it was called a small date. Why were there not a large and small date on the 1968 cents? Because they used only the swelled hub the whole year.
