Is this 1992D Lincoln Cent even worth keeping because it is so damaged looking? Advise please? Thank you.

Yes even in that condition it is almost certainly worth keeping. I don't know about price but you may have something quite valuable there.

You might have a real goodie there. I can't tell from the image if the bottom right side of the A has taken a hit and been pushed closer the the M. Can you give us a clear closeup of the AME of AMERICA and well as the designer's initials?

Looks like a winner to me. The FS positioning can help to verify. Condition is always a factor, but I believe this variety is pretty rare. Handle it with care. Experts?

I say this looks like the Close AM also. The M and E look farther apart. Definitely need better pictures to know for sure. Edit - Do NOT try to clean it. Edit - You can compare it to this one. http://goccf.com/t/380812

Oh wow I think you might have the real thing! We need better images to be 100% certain, but it looks like a Close AM and FG looks to be the correct RDV.

I stripped the color and cleaned up a few things. Look at the FG.

If the coin is worth at least $150 slabbed,it might be worth it to have it conserved by a TPG. John1

To me I would leave it untouched. Even some companies that do this professionally to alter a coin, it looks terrible and you wish you would have left it as is: Note on this one. The left is the before, the right looks like it was ruined by the conservation of this coin. The second image looks like someone did it themselves. I would have been upset with that result. The coin screams: 'Cleaned!" Best to leave them as it is, than to alter and possibly loose 90% of the value.
