I went to a local flea market today and found a few interesting things, I got a small tin full of random coins from a couple of different countries and this was in there.

Diameter is 16.78mm
Thickness is 1.3mm
Weight is 1.40g
Edge is Smooth
Composition is Magnetic

At first I thought it might be a Sychelles 1 Cent coin blank as the dimensions seemed right, however the 1 cent sychelles made from 2012-2016 is apparently exactly 16mm and exactly 1mm thick so I am not sure if this is within the mints tolerance.

I was hoping someone may be able to lead me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Normally when we see these they are punch-outs from electrical junction boxes, but the combination of a raised rim and smooth edge makes me think that you have something different. Perhaps you have a blank from a token?
