Hello,

I'm rather new here. I had early reported that it was a 2009 P but it is a Denver Mint coin. It has a mint gouge on the face and in the TRUST lettering. Lots of laminate peels both sides. An ugly duckling but I feel it's more of a Sasquatch as how do I prove it's off axis. My laptop is down until the Apple store opens up from COVID shutdown. I do have a new flatbed scanner. Any answer here? Thanks.

American coins, are opposite to Canadian coins for alignment ..If you spin around the coin in your fingers, the reverse should be upside down.

Correct. Canadian coins are medal alignment. That way if you had it in a holder, you would be able to see both sides by turning them from the left to the right. On the U.S. coins you flip these top to bottom to see the sides in the same direction. They are rotated with the reverse 180 degrees different.
