Looks more like Progressive Indirect Die Transfer, it's fairly common.

It matches the example at Maddiecaps.com. Mine just has more detail. So I don't know. Hopefully some others will help me better identify it.

Yes. But after a quick Google I can assure that this isn't die transfer. I have a bunch of wheaties with that. Some call it ghosting and such... But I'll even try to get better pics myself. But I'll be back shortly with pics from mad die caps.

Looks like something is going on in the memorial bays. Some sharper close ups will help see what is going on.

Higher resolution photos taken with filtered light would help. Not necessarily larger in terms of actual dimensions, just higher res so that details show better, rather than appear soft and liquid-like.

Nope sorry, your coin is just damage I'm afraid, your marks don't match with the one from maddiecaps at all.

Lighting glare is not your friend. Please try a defused light source (such as sunlight, or a piece of white paper over your indoor source). Coin photography is not easy, but the more you do it, the better (faster) you'll get at it.

Note the differences. All the areas you are pointing to are incuse marks on your coin. The areas in question on the Jason's images are all raised above the fields. So as mentioned, your coin has damage marks on it.

Ok, I'm not disagreeing, but the way the Lincoln Memorial is in the coin doesn't seem like it could be transferred over from contacting another coin. Maybe I'm wrong but I just want to make sure you're seeing it.

Not to mention there's no contact to his face or the rim on my coin. It would be difficult for another coins LM to put an imprint right there with out his face getting hit..

It's just damage. Scratches could have come from anywhere.

It's an Exact corner portion of the Lincoln Memorial. Those would be some coincidental scratches..

It's just a coincidence, nothing more.
Either take our advice or don't. We have years and years of experience, some of us has decades and decades.
