I've been going through some coins stored in paper albums, and came across two 1920 large coins. One of them is gold in colour. Can anyone tell me what this is?
Thanks in advance.

You'll need to take clearer photos for the folks on here!

Thanks

Please do each coin by it's self and crop the pic so we can see it better. But it does look like some one plated it gold.

Yep, plated by someone, not the mint.

Here are some cropped photos. Do you use a camera for photos ... I only have access to my phone. :-(

If it is plated, does that make it less valuable?

Thanks.

Any 1920 is not worth a whole lot to start with. You should keep it as an oddity. Nice find!

It's actually in pretty decent shape! Hard to grade based on these photos [don't sweat that @Entrepid - coin photography is an odd little niche] but I would guess it's EF. The band of the crown is complete and I believe I can see all eight pearls, strong-ish lines around the eye and eyebrow etc....

What a strange thing! If this were my coin I would put it in my beloved though largely valueless love tokens section.

Haha! "love tokens section!"
I'm trying to catalogue and eventually get rid of my coins ... kids don't want them, unfortunately.Still, oddities are interesting. Perhaps someone in my father's family did this one and one other, for fun.
