Hi, this quarter weights 5.1 and not 5.6 grams.
The Rim is all copper, nickel only present on the obverse and reverse.
Your knowledge is appreciated.

Definitely looks like post-mint wear/damage.

The photos show some parts of the copper having edge reeding and flat other parts which seems to line up with the parts of the obverse that have a solid rim and the other parts that are worn through the rim.

From the level of wear to the coin, I would definitely expect this is post-mint and the wear is the cause of the weight loss

With that level of wear, it likely was normal weight when it left the mint. This one is a spender.

PMD - note how beveled the edges are - this is not something the mint does. Edges of clad coins also are not necessarily uniform in how the edges portray the three layers. Some can be found where no copper shows in areas of the edge also.
