I bought a box of mixed goodies from a dealers table at a small flea market on the country side where I live and this coin/token has me completely stumped.

I searched online for a few hours and went through 20+ pages on Numista and still cant seem to find one that matches, I'm not sure if this is suppose to be a penny or a token, and of course it is extremely warn down but you can just see a faint bust of Maria Theresia on the obverse and a crown on the reverse.

I have been using the crown as a way to try an find a coin/token that matches with zero luck and I was hoping there was enough detail left for someone on here to maybe be able to identify.

Coin in question specs

Weight is 6.5g
width is 26.80mm (possibly originally 27mm)
Thickness is 1.50mm

I took these photos on somewhat of an angle so you can see the faint bust and details that are left.

That's King George III in my opinion. An Irish (Hibernia) halfpenny.
Here's mine anyway.

Thank you TNG! now that explains why I couldent find under Maria Theresia, the obverse looks eerily similar to the obverse of some of the maria theresia coins.

I think you are correct, I really wish I could see the year but the design on the reverse with the crown looks identical.

I'm going to say it is probably 1760's
Going by the bust and harp, you may find a similar die and date it that way. Check these out.

It looks like a George III halfpenny from Ireland. The obverse shows the kings bust to right and the reverse shows the crowned Irish harp. The date would be 1775, 1776, 1781 or 1782 but the piece is far too worn.
