Would you send this coin to NGC to be graded and what are your thoughts on potential grade?

Difficult call, thinking about AU-50, not worth the cost to grade.

I'd say AU-53, nice eye appeal.

I'll take a stab at AU-53/55, but difficult to get a good feel of the surfaces through the plastic. Best to remove from the holder before photographing.

Pics out of the 2x2 would be best. As far as submitting it to NGC, I guess it depends on why you want to get it slabbed.

I'm in for AU53 as well. Looks to be a bit of a rough patch on the reverse around the ATES in "States" possible planchet issue or flaw? Shouldn't hurt the grade really but would make the value to some go down. Not really a good example to blow money on having it slabbed, IMO anyways. Still a nice coin though, - those that know me know I love all the deuces even the beat up neglected ones, LOL

to CCF. It would need to grade at least MS63 to justify all costs involved in having it slabbed, your coin does not grade that high.
