I see the obverse now. Looks like a head of 94 to me.

what about the grade and do you think it got corrosion ?

I'll say G-4 on this one maybe VG-8 at best . I used Photo grading compared to yours but coin in hand is best . I hope this helps.

I think I have around 12-15 books on primarily just 1794 Large Cents in my library but only a single low grade 1794 cent in my whole collection. Sure wish I saved them when they were selling for $15-40 each for decent legible ones. Now it seems it takes a hundred dollar bill or more to get a Poor to Good example. If I ever come into serious money that and some a particular colonials are on my list of must have coins on my bucket list. Jefferson head, Stared Reverse, apple cheek so many neat varieties in 1794.

That should keep you busy for awhile! Everything but the Noyes books and Boka's 1794 book I provided links that will allow you to read them for free online, thanks to PCGS and the Eric Newman Numismatic Portal (a site I seem to live at these days). It's the best research site around for US numismatic history right now (IMO).
