Hi everyone, I just acquired this unusual 18th-century Chinese Cash coin. However, I have never seen this particular mint mark before. Would anyone be able to identify it or tell the KM# for this variety?
It appears to be of the Ch'ien-lung series of Emperor Kao Tsung (1736-1795CE). I suspect that it is of the Kuang-si Mint, but I am not certain.
Would anyone have any additional information? Thanks.
Albert - Thanks! Honestly, I've seen many 18th-century cash coins over the years, but I hadn't encountered one from this mint before. I paid US$1 for it. Do you think that I did ok? Any guesses what the retail value might be?
