I might just lock my main card in the safe until October and use a different one.
I have restricted myself to contactless payments until then. Luckily my closest gas station updated their pumps recently.

Just called the mint customer service about my new card which replaces the old one that is going to expire next month. They said that even though the new one has the same number the order won't go through. The only thing that is changing is the expiration date and the sec number. I'm going to add it to my account anyway and see if it goes through in October. They said they've been getting a lot of calls like mine so hopefully they will do something about this situation before the coins ship. Maybe all of us that have a card problem should begin to fill up their email box until they have to address the issue.

Hopefully they (will) have a procedure in place to check the saved card number on the account if the one used on the order fails due to expiration (or cancellation from compromise).

Update your accounts as soon as you activate a new card!

When I updated the card there was a box to check that said "use this card for all my enrollments". Hopefully this will also be used on the back orders.

Thanks. Added to my work calendar. Looks like I'm going to have to push a few meetings around to accommodate.

I was able to get the first day off but couldnt get the second day off. Thankfully our computers here done block government websites so I can still order and recruit my brother and sister to try as well.

Has anyone noticed that the Mintage limit is not showing up for the Morgan and Peace dollars? Does this mean they may make another set for these coins?

I thought to myself that the mint is hedging it's bet in case in can get more planchet. They could release a 6 coin set in Enhanced Reverse ultra shiny and bling proof and charge $2000 but limit it to 2000 coins.

Being serious, it's probably in case they decide to create another finish. Better to be safe than just release and say "oops"

I received an email from the US Mint yesterday, letting me know of the new pre-order windows coming up. I found this but interesting also:

"The legislation authorizing the production of Morgan and Peace dollars in 2021 also provides an option to mint these coins in future years. The production of these coins in future years is under discussion and will be determined at a later date."

Not necessarily big news here, but interesting (unusual?) that they are being so forthright about it.

From Coin World:

According to an Oct. 26 e-mailed response to Coin World, U.S. Mint spokesman Michael White said, "Mintage represents the number of coins that were produced. Product Limit is the number of units produced for an individual product or SKU [product number].

So ya, maybe a set of 2022s will be considered... maybe more.

If this is the start of a new series I assume it may make the 21's even more desirable to collectors. Right?
