I work for the bank so it takes a long time for a credit card to close due to dormancy. But as JBUCK said, who would go so long without buying from the Mint? They seem to want our money and give us product to take our money. I just dont want there to be an issue with the card where it declines those transactions, as it will suddenly within a few days, would charge my card multiple times for roughly the same amount. This preorder makes me nervous and I hope they never do it again, or at least charge and collect to 100% SECURE the coins.

Same here, I'm having to make sure there is enough money in the account all the time to ensure that there will be no issue. I only hope they they send off the Morgan groups separately, like they 'sold' them so I don't get hit for all 6 at one moment.

Same. Also, most debit cards lack buyer or fraud protection. I would never use one online, let alone at the Mint.

The bank I use has fraud protection with both my debit and charge cards. That's what they say online in their security/protection section. They expect to be notified promply though, not to wait months before noticing it. I haven't had to file a claim yet to see if it holds true. Knock on wood.

Interesting that most of the coins say BACKORDER in my order status, except the Philly Morgan and the Peace, which still say PROCESSING.
