Columbus' head is out of focus-that is where the wear would start.

Nice luster but I agree with other opinions - head out of focus, black field and flare areas etc,
Perhaps try another picture in natural direct sunlight.

However, I will guess the grade at
MS-62

Recently, melt silver shot up in price and dealers were shifting lots of silver coins in any grade
but price has come down and dealer's prices for numismatic silver has remained high after the melt silver price drop.
Need more time to tell if the $22 paid was OK.

That's quite the coincidence...I just pick up a 92 and 93 yesterday...it was part of a whole collection. My 93 doesn't look as good as yours...and I paid $25 thinking it was an AU coin ungraded.
I would say yours is a MS63 based on the pics and the nice strike and details it shows.
Nice pick up!

I'll say MS-63, but that's just a guess given the pics.
