Looks like Machine Doubling . Nice Educational Specimen . See how your coins second images are lower than the devices doubled and and don't display rounded edges ?

Yes it is, that was a tough one, has the two die gouges on the obverse, so I wasn't sure.

It's Split Plate Doubling. Lots of copper plated zinc cents can be found like this. No added value.

I feel that the in some cases the MD is so strong, it splits the plating. As mentioned, an educational piece. If you already have one of these, it might just be a spender. They are common. Save the best one, spend the other one.
