With the Italian coin, one sold for $6 and change, the other went for $28. ebay is funny like that =) I would estimate that out of 25 of these coins, you would find 2-3 with minor elements showing through, but maybe 1 in 40 will have dramatic elements on both sides (based on my own experience). Still, not as rare since this type is supposed to be over-struck from the get-go.
I'm very interested to see a second 50 ore with similar errors. I can't quite find any shifting in any of the other features, but your explanation makes more sense than an unlisted over-date which would be far more rare.
Still, I can't help but feel that the coin is worth more than the modest $12.50 that Krause pegs it at in BU condition.
And your coin is pretty high grade as well. The standards for Norwegian coins seem to be more liberal than many other nation's coins.
