Unfortunately, the photo is somewhat soft/pixelated--appears to be a low resolution .jpg image file. Higher resolution would help, along with full photos of the coin's obverse and reverse.

Just a late die state coin that had heavy die flow on the fields. The 'E' was altered by a hit to that area. Note the area is distorted with an incuse mark. It can't be a wrong letter as the devices are all transferred several times from the Master hub, Master die, Working hub and to the working die. The coin was normal, but to a hit on that device.

The whole reverse design is all done in one step. No individual devices are punched in. That was a 18th-19th century thing. Since 1908 the devices are all on the master hub. Handed down with the image above till the die is created.

Thank ya all for your help snd the way u answered my questions with knowledgeable ans. Will my samsung s8 active be sbke to take a clear pic? I csn see doubling fairly easy with my 25x watch repair magnifier. I will tey to get better pics.

I have to get a digital camera for taken quality pics to post. The doubling dont really show up in pics.Any suggestions.

The last images were a lot better. But too much light will bleach out an image. Sometimes it is caused by glare on the coin from too much light. Just need a bit more magnification to get the images we need to see better. But from the original images, my answer is still the same.
