Cheek and nose look pretty battered up. Hard to tell with the small photos. Guess MS63

Quote: Luster is gone in some spots. AU-58 missing luster does not reduce a coin from MS to AU the 97(S) are typically above average in strike. this one would fall into that. broken luster across both sides of the coin will affect grade. as for eye appeal this coin would be AVG- for all the defects on both sides. for surface originality the coin does exhibit a possible polish across the highest points of the devices however it could be from the lighting. so I'm withholding a details designation unless I had it in hand I'm putting this one at MS62+

Looks like a hazy original undipped MS coin. Might be some finger rub in the middle of both sides. MS-63

A bit of chatter on the obverse neck and cheek, a couple dings on the nose. The fields are okay. For the reverse, there are nice feather details on the wings and breast. Net 62 would be my estimate.

not sure what they saw to call cleaned unless the lighting here is obscuring the surfaces and the luster has been removed. again ANACS blew this one. no way its a 60. just compare any 60 coin to this one and its not even close
the moral of the story here is don't send CC morgans to ANACS. they have no clue

All Unc details coins graded at ANACS are labeled MS-60. Even if it would have otherwise gotten a 64, if they felt it had a light cleaning, it would get an MS-60 details. But I agree the photos don't suggest a cleaning. I guess this is one you'd have to see in hand.
