Found this. Can't make heads nor tails of it! Hahaha! I am so punny! Anyway I can make out a wreath with about three lines of lettering within it on one side and what looks like something to Brittania on the other side. Anyone have any ideas?

Design looks like it is loosely based on U.S. Seated Liberty type, then badly abused.

Third letter looks like a Y to me. Maybe the first is a G?

Chihuahua Quarto not sure on the authenticity, the hole in the figure makes me suspicious, but if authentic it's about 160 years old.

@Gincoin - you're onto something there. I suspect it's a dodgy coin though. The writing just doesn't line up with the writing in the genuine piece.

I Think it is ok, though how someone let it go through a dryer I do not know and there is now no way to authenticate it. However I must make a correction, I didn't see the letters. It is not a 1/4 real but a 1/8th real from either 1841, 1842, or 1861 but not 1851. Federal coinage.

Nice work @gc! I think you have nailed it. The only thing I would add is that perhaps this coin was spooned rather than being a Dryer Coin. The rolled over edge looks more angular than I would expect for dryer damage. Or not—hard to say at this point.
