Hi guys,

I have this 1953 S Lincoln Wheat Error Penny with a flat piece of metal between the "9" in 1953. (See close up photo)

What is this error considered? Die chips are normally raised chips of metal but this one is flat strip. Can someone help me determine what this is.

Not a premium for the coin, just an example of how their over usage of the dies, left a kinds of weird stuff to find.

No "guy" here, but I agree with all of the above, no lam, just a die chip.
