Hi everyone, I have this 1964D cent and on the reverse on the 3rd pillar from the right theres a melted looking bubble. What would you say this is from

Definitely not a typical location for a die chip, but that sure looks like one.

Well the third bay is affected by a die clash. So any polishing will remove more of the bay field area, and make that area rise on the coin. I think that is what you are thinking.

Coop "third pillar from the right" = die chip.
And yes 3rd pillar from the left affected by die clash/polishing..
