Hey all,

I found this Kennedy half dollar and it looks like a DDO? what are your thoughts? I think it's most prominent on the date.

Thanks everyone

Well the Liberty is showing extreme die wear. The lower half of the devices are showing Machine Doubling. Note the heavy die flow on the fields. The dies are showing their age at this point. Note on the top of the '9'? See those lines there? This I refer to as striation lines from the die sliding after the strike over the tops those devices showing these lines. If there were a doubled die on a fresher die state, that may be possible. But at this point the die wear and the Machine Doubling is hiding evidence of a DDO on this one. So I would say no on this one.
