to CCF. Is what an error? The mint mark and numbers looking flatish is circulation flattening. The mint mark being close to the 5 is normal, mint marks were hand punched on each working die till 1990 so placement varies.

Die varieties, coin errors and die events are three different subjects:
1953-Denver-Penny-Error?
Doubled dies, RPMs, over mintmarks, Over dates (18th, 19th century varieties) are varieties. Mint error coins are a different thing. Die events are just common events that happen to dies. When you mix the terms, you confuse us. If you thought your coin was a doubled die, you would ask: "Is this a DDO or DDR?" If you thought it was a RPM, then ask: "Is this a RPM?" When you ask: "Is this an 'Error'", We are not under standing what you are asking? It is like asking about someone's car: "Is this a car?" The distinction is very vague. Models, years? The more you can add to your question, then we will be able to answer it better.

Great to have you here! Make sure to copy information you really enjoy, so you don't have to look for it another time later. Copy to a Word page, Copy images that are descriptive or take advantage of the screen shot feature. Buy an extra external hard drive and start collecting what you enjoy. Because soon you will be teaching others as well.
