to CCF. The dime is called a Dryer Coin, not an error. The quarter might be a Struck Through Grease. Need better close up pics. Please crop photos properly before posting...thanks.

But the stock material can have different colors.
Just depends on what the coin suffered during its like.
But the quarter as mentioned before, is a Grease Fill issue, preventing devices to show on a coin. A question on the back of everyones mind is this: How can grease prevent metal from forming a device? Because the grease what in the die first, it prevents that device from forming. Just like a hydraulic jack can lift a lot of weight, the pressure on the coin forces the jack to lift the desired object. The oil was there first. When pressured by the jack, it lift the object because of the pressure on the piston in the chamber. Thus grease prevents the contained area to be formed.

The dime looks like it may be encased in a copper bezel. Better pics would help.

Being in a bezel flattens the edge of the coin and adds a different color on the edge. Note the color on this on is copper, the inside color of the clad But an Encased Coin alters the outside edge of the inner rim of the coin:

Take them out of the hold will result in having a damaged coin:

Because they are pressed into the encasement, it is best to leave them there. At least in the holder it will have a value, out of the hold, it is a damaged coin.
Dryer Coins are damaged in a commercial dryer. The longer they are left in there, the more damage that happens to them:

Note the roll over on the rim? It is a Dryer Coin.

Quarter, Struck Through Grease worth 25 cents. Dime is a Dryer Coin worth, 10 cents.
