Today I received these two 1965 Quarters in my change. One weighing 5.7 and the darker colored one weighing 5.1
Is it because its had a rougher life than the other or maybe by chance it's just had a rougher life. I havent gotten a 65 quarter in a long time. Just thought thought I'd throw them on here. Thanks

Spnders. The differences are often affected by being in the ground or altered with acids. When a coin looks like these, they are spenders. They are not mint errors, they have been ravaged by time and events, just like us.

Yes. Exactly correct. Only one year earlier and it would be silver.

Thanks for every ones input. I think for me seeing errors with my own eyes would click in my head a little better. I look at picture after picture and I look so long and hard all my change has DDO, double ear, wrong planchet ect. I'm so convinced I spend an hour trying to get sort of a decent pic , send it to yall and soon as I send it I dont see a thing anymore I will tell you that I'm a smoker and hunting for errors has cut that in half. So thank you all again. Stay well
