It does seem to be serial numbered but I don't see an obvious denomination. It seems like the back is set up to have information entered. I believe it to be Japanese. Even though the JP Kanji is the same as the Chinese Alphabet they're pronounced different so I can't even give you an accurate TL of what I can read. Report this Post to the Staff

Some like yours have these scenes of classical China, others have such as instructions of what to do in the event of an air raid or nuclear attack! They're interesting and colourful items. At least on your example it's the upper curved line of text under the title, running right to left, and which dates it to the sixty seventh year of the Republic of China: 1978.
