Fake 1755 Dated 8 Reales Coin With A Printed "Certificate" On Ebay.

The dark tarnishing, the printed "certificate" (could be matched with any coin as it is just a piece of paper and the correct weight are just not enough for this coin to be authentic:

The "Family property acquired in early 20th century in Arequipa." is just another "red flag" which suggests the doubtful origin of the coin.

Another red flag: "No needs foreign certifications."

Definitely has that Chinese counterfeit look with that type of toning.

A fake certificate is even easier to make than a fake coin.
The seller is in the USA yet posts on a European ebay, and a modern looking certificate from the Peru Numismatic Society.

The seller has listed on the US website as the price is in USD, but I was viewing it thru the Austrian site where I am located.

A rather small fish. He was possibly fooled himself.

Appears to be a resale of one the pillar fakes currently being peddled daily on ebay by the seller(s) out of Ukraine.
