Late Kushans, c. AD 350, anonymous issue imitating Siva & Bull type of Vasu Deva I. Joe Cribb has described several hoards containing coins of this type hoarded together with Kushano-Sasanian coins of similar weight, suggesting that at this time in the region that is now Pakistan, areas under Sasanian control and those still belonging to the Kushans formed a single currency zone. The hoards show the weights of named coins of the Kushano-Sasanian "dumpy fire altar" series and the weights of later Kushan imitations declining in parallel, allowing the anonymous Kushan types to be dated with some precision. One sometimes sees these coins attributed to the Kidarites, following Mitchiner, but that notion is outdated.
