I keep seeing these popping up throughout ebay with crazy premiums and I'm wondering how they're made. I've never owned one, not certain id like to, but is it just a sticker? How do they get so much detail on the coins!

Here it is explained how Littleton is doing it: https://blog.littletoncoin.com/behi...rized-coins/

Quote:
Once the colorized design is approved, we send our colorized images off to a company that applies the special inks directly to the surface of the coins. A sample is sent back to the designer, who inspects it to make sure the colors are right and the quality meets our standards.
