Came across these 5 Morgans
1881 S
1884 CC
1884 O
1921 D
1921 P

Question from this newbie - I have heard of people cracking these out carefully and sending in for TPG. Is this something that I should consider or just leave them as they are?

Thanks!

Looks like you correctly identified the 1884-CC as the most valuable piece. I'd guess it could grade MS-63. At that grade it's not really worth any more in a TPG slab. The current holder is kinda neat; I'd probably keep them all as-is. Makes a nice mintmark set.

You are not really cracking those because they are raw and ungraded now. If you take high-resolution close-ups of each piece we can give you a better idea. Odds are that they are not worth grading.

Agree hard to see , the 84 cc looks MS-63 ish to me so about 245-285 not sure what you paid for them, they may help determine it.

Please post large images of both sides of each coin, one per thread.

Not worth submitting to TPG. Common data sliders, but the CC looks nice and could be Unc. check the 21's for VAM varieties. some of those carry a premium.
