Unfortunately, it looks counterfeit. It's a bit light, the numbers are too rounded, and the date position is wrong for that date.

I'm not convinced it's a fake - more input needed.

Could you post full obverse and reverse photos of the coin? There was only one obverse die used for the 1894-P business strike, and this date position doesn't match. I'm sticking with fake.

Can we get a clear shot of the full obverse and reverse? I'm also very suspect. A number of spots look very soft and a bit mushy. The date being the biggest red flag. Tentatively siding with fake.

Morgan collector here! The NGC slab looks 100% athentic. It has all the telltale signs of being a real NGC product. The fakes are easy to spot if you know what to look for. If the holder is real and not tampered with, then the coin is 100% real.
I am confused about the first set of photos. The slab is real, but you first posted a set of photos showing a coin outside a slab. Do you have two 1894s?

Looking at mikev50 post on the die break on the talon area, my coin is missing that so it looks as though it's fake and I also weighed the coin again and it came back 26.97 oz with a coin that has some wear to it that should not be right. Thanks for the responses back

With only one die pair for business strike coins yours is a definite fake with the date position too far right. Not a coin to be purchasing from ebay raw if you don't know what to look for.

I'm sorry, but I'm 99% sure your coin's a counterfeit. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at spotting fake Morgan dollars.
