1984-D-Penny-Mint-Error?

Hello all, I am new to collecting coins and I found this 1984D penny and think it might be a mint mark error.

to CCF. Photo is blurry and too pixelated, but looks like DDD=die deterioration doubling or a plating issue. Not a RPM=repunched mint mark.

SE of the mintmark is showing split plating and zinc rot starting on that area. It is a spender.
