to CCF. Could use a bit better photo, but it is either a Struck Through Grease or PMD. Neither adds value.

Although the "In God We Rust" Quarter is not considered for error, they are fetching "extra value" on e-bay but there are a a good number of them, this is basically the same but with no other 1968 S penny with the same missing S being displayed anywhere. The obverse "S" is there but "Missing" sort to speak "United Tates of America" How is that just trivial? Can you show me another example? I seem to doubt it.

Grease Filled Dies are extremely common.....

https://www.coincommunity.com/numis...d&gsc.page=1

Sure you may have a tough time finding an exact match to your where the grease was in exactly the same spot as it was on yours but that doesn't make it "rare." Greasers rarely have more than a very small premium if any unless there is a lot missing.

If you feel differently feel free to fork out some dough and get it certified and sell it.

Variety dies are attributed. But errors, will not be attributed as most times they are usually one. But Grease Fill is never listed. It is random and varies until the dies are having the grease removed. Most of the time, it works it way off itself.
