I have these pennies from the 1940s and am curious if they are valuable....

Given the photos posted, it's difficult to see if anything somewhat minor is going on--such as smallish die cracks or die chips, or such. With that, these coins are worth about 2-6 cents each given they are '40s and their less-than-optimal condition.

Thank you! I had a very hard time with the pics. Is there a place to go learn how to identify errors? I have alot of 50s 60s and 70s too but if I can find the errors myself I wont have to ask so many questions

Look into purchasing a copy of what is called the Red Book by Whitman Publishing. Should be able to get one on Amazon or Wizard.
